Microsoft is continuing to push the Xbox One S as the choice console for Christmas by cutting prices on the console by $50 until December 24.
Although Microsoft offered discounts on its Xbox One bundles throughout the Black Friday period, the most notable price cuts seemed to be on Sony’s PlayStation 4, with the company reporting record sales.
Clearly Microsoft is giving its console one final push before the big day in the US, with participating retailers and the Microsoft online store itself offering Xbox One S console bundles for as little as $249.
Giving the gift of gaming
For $249, you can pick up a 500GB Xbox One S console, Battlefield 1, and one month of EA access. Or for $50 more you can get a bit of extra hard drive space with the 1TB console and Gears of War 4 instead.
In its blog post announcing the offers, Microsoft is reinforcing the fact that the Xbox One S console offers a 4K Blu-ray player. It’s the only console on the market to offer this feature and at these prices it does make the console one of the most affordable 4K Blu-ray players currently on the market.
So, if you know someone that’s been looking for a 4K Blu-ray player, a discounted Xbox One S console is your best chance to look ultra generous.
As well as the Microsoft Store, these prices will be available at Amazon, Target, GameStop, Best Buy, and Walmart.com.
