Following wide-spread protests over President Donald Trump’s executive orders banning immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries on yesterday, a number of prominent tech CEOs have offered responses ranging from strong to tepid. The founders of ride-share company Lyft have offered their response in the form of a million dollar donation to the American Civil Liberties Union.
According to a statement from Lyft, the executive orders are “antithetical to both Lyft’s and our nation’s core values. We stand firmly against these actions, and will not be silent on issues that threaten the values of our community.”
